AI children will become widely available for a relatively small monthly fee for parents who wish to have kids in the digital world! Presently, Tamagotchi kids are about to make a debut in the metaverse, claims an artificial intelligence expert. Society will begin to embrace virtual children within half a century, calling this demographic the Tamagotchi generation.

An AI specialist says that humans would soon be able to raise digital offspring. These computer-generated offsprings will only exist in the immersive digital world known as the metaverse, which is accessed using virtual reality technology such as a headset to make a user feel as if they’re face-to-face with the child. Virtual kids would have minimal cost and environmental impact. When the tech is ready, it could offer tailored experiences to each user looking for a virtual baby.

The low cost of virtual kids isn’t their only selling point and also solves the overstated problem of overpopulation. Tamagotchi kids that play with you and look like you will be with them for the next 50 years. These kids are like real kids. Users will be able to play with them, feed them, and cuddle them. And kids would be able to respond using speech, depending on their age.

If you’re not looking for full-time kids, you can simply switch your child off! If your virtual child spawns into a teenage monster, you can simply cancel your subscription or ignore the kid; only if you can though. As the metaverse evolves, we can see virtual children becoming an accepted and fully embraced part of our society in hopes of a more developed world.
