Marijuana Lovers, get on the Metaverse! Snoop Dogg is Bringing Weed
NFT enthusiast, Snoop Dogg has introduced a digital weed farm to the Mobland metaverse.
Snoop Dogg, the American rapper, and songwriter, who became one of the best-known figures in gangsta rap in the 1990s is also an NFT enthusiast. His focus has now turned to the new metaverse domain where he is introducing a digital weed farm in the form of a mafia-themed metaverse project called Mobland. It is the first-ever mafia metaverse space that also announced the new collaboration on Twitter. The digital weed is available to buy and while owners won’t be able to feel the physical effects of this virtual marijuana, they’ll certainly be hoping that prices get high.
Digital Weed to the Mobland Metaverse
Mobland platform will host a branded digital weed farm in the form of NFTs and exclusive content from Snoop Dogg’s son Champ Medici. Mobland is a mafia-war-based metaverse, where players act as gangsters in their own mafia-style organization. The metaverse is set to launch its business buildings within the next two months.
The weed farms are part of the third generation of NFTs. NFT 1.0 is about individual character and item, NFT 2.0 is about land and real estate, and NFT 3.0 is about business and utility on top of the land and real estate. It also marks a transition from play-to-earn to grow-to-earn.
The first-ever mafia-themed metaverse Mobland, previously known as Syn. The city is an action-adventure role-playing game in which the users acquire, manage, trade, and expand members of their syndicate. This is not the first NFT project Snoop Dogg is associated with. Snoop Dogg has partnered with several crypto companies and has many NFT collections of his own. Last month, he released a set of eight music tracks as NFTs where ApeCoin and Bored Ape Yacht Club act as the theme. He also collaborated with Crypto.com to release his NFT music album, ‘A Journey with The Dogg’.
Snoop Dogg is also a big collector on OpenSea and also one of the most vocal members of the crypto industry. Recently, Snoop Dogg released 10,000 playable avatars for metaverse use through The Sandbox. Well, it seems like the American rapper is giving his all to rule the metaverse domain.
