Exodus Wallet Team Hinted at an Integration with Shibarium
Shiba Inu Army Excited About Wallet Provider News to Increase Cryptocurrency ecosystem
Not one, but two high-profile wallet providers have sparked interest among the SHIB army ahead of the beta launch of Shibarium, Shiba Inu layer 2 networks. While the Exodus wallet team hinted at a Shibarium integration, a new feature from MetaMask is causing a stir because it has the potential to significantly benefit the Shiba Inu ecosystem.
Exodus, one of the oldest non-custodial crypto wallets, announced on Twitter that its asset team has “logged” Inu’s upcoming layer 2 networks. A SHIB community member asked the wallet provider to integrate Shibarium via Twitter. The Exodus team did not explicitly confirm its willingness to support the network in response but did state that the request had been forwarded to the appropriate department. Furthermore, the Exodus team hinted that the Shiba Inu community may be in for a “delightful surprise” shortly.
Furthermore, Exodus’ Twitter account suggested an alternative method for the SHIB army to add Shibarium’s ERC20-based tokens to their Exodus wallets. “I also wanted to let y’all know that you can add Shibarium as a custom ERC20 token in Exodus,” Exodus wrote, pointing to a detailed guide. Here’s how it works: “I’m crossing my fingers for full support down the road.
” Exodus would join a growing list of platforms if it declared support for Shibarium. Other industry titans that have already announced their support include Atomic Wallet and hardware wallet manufacturer Ledger.
In other Shiba Inu news, chief developer Shytoshi Kusama drew attention to the launch of the MetaMask SDK in the Unity Asset Store.
Kusama retweeted the announcement with an exclamation point but didn’t elaborate. The MeatMask team announced that the SDK will allow developers to connect their games to a wallet so that users can interact with Web3-enabled features in the game itself. In general, this move is expected to elevate gameplay to new heights and bring Web3 value to the gaming industry, which the Shiba Inu ecosystem could greatly benefit from.
Despite the positive response from the SHIB community, dissatisfaction with Shibarium’s delayed launch is growing.
“That’s great!!!” wrote one user. This is meaningless until Shibarium is released. Despite rumors of a “soon” launch of Shibarium, no firm date for the beta version has been set. SHIB was trading at $0.00001241 at press time, having risen from the 00001241 at press time, having risen from the $0..
